Steven Paul Jobs于2011年10月5日逝世，享年56岁。他结婚20年，有三个女儿和一个儿子。他的成就彻底改变了我们所在的世界。他在临终前，回首往事，说下这段话。

我在商业世界中达到了成功的巅峰。在别人的眼里，我的生命是成功的缩影。

I reached the pinnicle of success in the business world. In others eyes my life was an epitome of success.

但是，除了工作，我有很少的欢乐…

However… aside from work, I have little joy…

最终，财富只是我生活中已习惯了的现实。

In the end, wealth is only a fact of life that Im accustomed.

这一刻，躺在病床上，回想起我的一生。我意识到，我所有的认同和财富都令我非常自豪。但面对即将到来的死亡，它们变得毫无意义。

At this moment, lying on the sick bed and recalling my whole life. I realise that , all the recognition and wealth I took so much pride in have paled and become meaningless in the face of inpeading death.

在黑暗中，我看着医疗仪器发出的绿灯，听到仪器发出的嗡嗡声。我感觉到死神的呼吸越来越近了。

In the darkness, I look at the green lights from the life supporting machines, and hear the humming mechanical sounds. I can feel the breathe of god of death drawing closer.

现在我知道，当我们一生积累了足够的财富之后，我们应该追求一些与财富无关的事。

Now I know, when we have accumulated sufficient wealth to last our lifetime. We should pursue other matters that are unrelated to wealth.

应该是更重要的事情：也许是人情；

Should be something thats more important. Perhaps relationships;

也许是艺术；也许是年轻时的梦想。

Perhaps art; Perhaps a dream from younger days.

不断的追求财富只会使一个人变得扭曲，就像我一样。

Non-stop pursueing of wealth will only turn a person in to a twisted being. Just like me…

上帝给了我们感官，就是让我们感受每个人心中的爱，而不是财富带来的幻想。

God gave us the senses, to let us feel the love in everyones heart. Not the illusions brought out by wealth.

在我生命中赢得的财富，我不能带着离开。我只能带着爱情中沉淀的记忆。这是跟着你的真正财富，陪伴你，给你力量和光芒照继续下去。

The wealth that Ive won in my life, I cannot bring with me. What I can bring is only the memories precipitated by love. Thats the true riches which will follow you, company you. Giving you strength and light to go on.

Love can travel a thousand miles.

Life has no limit.
